Topic: ibay behaviour - only on the primary vhost under v6?

I have several dns registered and they are used the same (almost).
say reallylongname.com, name.com and reallyshortname.com

As they are the same they point to the same "primary" ibay.

Now I have created the gallery in iBay which in turn is only accessible from the main (the first entered) reallylongname.com/gallery and not through either  name.com and reallyshortname.com.

I know - use template - still is this the intended behaviour - as it differs from the 5.6 I have used to.

Also if it is the intended bevaviour it would be rather feasible to add additional edid fields in either ibay or domains panels...

You are not refering to bug in SME 6.0b3, are you?
If you still using that beta version, then upgrade to final. If not, don't make us guess and post the version of your SME and more detailes on configuration and DNS settings.

afaik sme 6final (downloaded and installed on Jan 24)

the problem is that the ibay is added to the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
only in the first <VirtualHost 0.0.0.0:80> part that corresponds to the "servername" domainname (if I may say so...) and not in the later virtual sever parts
