I'm installing 5.6 onto a Celeron with a P4 Titan mb (Gigabyte GA-8ST800 has hypedup threading)
2 x 40 gb Seagate HDD
1 x sony cdrom
1 x Netgear NIC (DP83815)
1 x Cnet NIC (Davicom)
The basic server only install goes smothly till the final setup. When you get to the setup pages it goes very slowly. When you reboot it is quick till it getts to the http-e-smith stuff then starts slowing down.
When you get to the admin console it takes seconds to proccess key pushs (up down enter).
The lan side is eratic, a ping to the lan NIC returns 61/659/342 ms responces.
There is no acces via HTTPS 'operation timed out' errors (After setting up ssh access)
This is my 6th Esmith server, the first with this mother board, NIC combo.
What a pain in the ass this has become.
ANY help apprecated.
