Topic: movint the server HD to another machine ??

Hi!

I run a sme 5.6
and now wnates to move the HD from the server to another pc (a bit slower)

And whye this, can i here you asking

becourse i have bought a new disk, and wants to make a sme 6.0 install on this disk, in the newest server....

My question is now, can i mowe the HD, without problem ?
i thinking of:
will the server software AUTOMATICLY discover the new main-board, network interface, etc.
or do i have to run some form of update ??

Swap the HDD, then do a reinstal from CD but select upgrade.
Then reinstal the latest update.
This should set up for the different hardware.
