Topic: Esc|m sequences in man pages -F1 / ESC not working in Joe E

Hi All,

I wondered if anyone has come across this ?

I have googled and found a fix which did not
actually work.

Bascially I cant read man pages properly because
they are  full of Esc|m etc strange sequence of chars.

I found a refernce to it and this :-

$ cat > /etc/profile.d/less.sh
LESS=isrR
export LESS
^D

If I ssh into the server I can read man pages no probs however the F1 and Esc keys still wont work
in Joe.

I am suspecting that its either :-

Keboard Country Definition (UK)
The shell profile etc
Termninal type (TTY1 ?)

Any advice greatly appreciated.
