I have setup SMEv6.0 release, everything is OK except for incoming mails. I hve clients trying to send me mails but unfortunately some have been sent to admin as rejected/wrong addresee mails. Hve had clients sending mails to my mail account which I have checked the address is correct but when opened in admin shows undisclose recipients. Also unable to send mail to some isp's

Is there an anti spam application built into SME? If so how do I disable them?

TIA Benjamin

I don't get incoming emails on my newly installed/upgraded SME6.

I try to activate Mail Transport in the servicepanel, but it won't start...

Can anyone help?

Geez guys, a bit more detail would help!!!

What mail setup are you using?

What errors, if any, are in the log files?

What version was the upgrade from?

When the upgrade was performed were there any contribs (especially related to email) installed that could be a problem under V6.0?

The more detail you can provide the easier it is to narrow down the options and provide reasoned answers/suggestions.

a bit more information:

clean sme6.0 install

restore of backup from 5.1

running standard services when it comes to mail.

Contribs: portopening, portforwarding, awstats.

to give you log-information... which log should i look in?

Try triggering the error and tail -f /var/log/thelogyouwant the logs. Post captured error.
