Topic: AC-97 CNR modem - Can it be used with SME 6.0?

I want to use my new Syntax motherboard with the built-in AC 97 CNR modem with SME 6.0. Will SME detect and utilize this modem or should I disable it and use an external?

No, it won't because it's not a real modem.  It requires software drivers & as such should be avoided.  Get a real external modem - it'll be faster & more reliable.
