« on: July 28, 2001, 11:40:18 AM »
Hi,
first time, i configure my essg 4.1.1 with an isdn router. no problems for internet acces.

now i have configure my essg for use pppoe with an ethernet adsl modem.
ping test for external ip is correct or external adress is correct.
nslookup test is correct,
traceroute test for any ip adress :
1 * * *
2 * * *
3 * * *
.....

if i would see a web page, i wait, i wait..... but nothing.
my ISP say the adsl line is correct, so i think i have a pb in my configuration.

Have you an idea ?

(sorry for my english) :)

It seems that you Esmith does not resolv name, to be sure try to use an @ ip as url in your browser ex http://217.12.6.17/ to find something on yahoo

Il semblerait que E-smih ne resout pas les noms, as tu essayƩ directement de taper l'ip d'un serveur Web dans ton browser ex :http://217.12.6.17/ ou bien 193.253.51.109 ?
