Kernel source files not found
« on: February 28, 2004, 10:52:01 PM »
I want to install "dazuko 2.0" to make use of extra Server-specific features of H+BEDV Antivir (I've a free license of AntiVir for Linux and FreeBSD for private individual non-commercial use).

Dazuko consists of a kernel module that captures file access system calls and passes this information to one of the running AvGuard daemons. The daemon scans the file and if no viruses are found and if the file is not an unwanted file, allows the system call to proceed. It also makes scanning within compressed files possible.

So I have to compile Dazuko but when I try to ./configure I get the error: kernel source files not found

Where can I find the kernel source files and how do I install them?

Thanks,

Rien

the kernel-sources ar not included in the standard installation, because this would be a security-whole.

there is a contrib for the kernel-sources and for the developer-tools.

search the forum.
