Will future SME server release's be ISO?  The screen shots of 6.0.1 have been up for a long time, yet the Mitel 6.0 is the latest ISO...I am using several 5.6 servers and plan to upgrade them to the next public release of SME.

Any information is appreciated.

You can always build your own iso, I've done this for 6.0 with all the updates and also a 6.0.1 version with all the new look and feel. There's a how-to that explains it all.

but this is silly. Shouldn't someone just do it once so we can all reap the benefit? If it's a question of bandwidth can it not be made available as a bittorrent?

The changes are mostly cosmetic and not worth of issue the whole new ISO release. You can get the same results by installing SME 6.0 and updating the few RPMs with bug fixes and interface updates.

Not really, I have installed many times and having a disc with everything up to date makes things easier as there are no updates to do after. I also use the disc for upgrading to add the updates.

Custom ISO

I have now built a custom iso with all of the contribs included that I would normally need to install seperately and have found the experience to be very rewarding.

I would encourage anyone with a test server to give this a go.

The how to is easy to understand.

It would be nice to *find* that howto... I have looked under Contribs - howto. Didn't find it there...
