I need to add a line in my /etc/modules.conf file for an adaptec scsi card (aic7xxx). I created the file /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/modules.conf/11ScsiHostAdapter with one line in it:
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
But every time I expand the template it adds another line to the modules.conf file. So if I expand the template 3 times there are three lines in modules.conf relating to the scsi adapter. It also adds a lot of lines before and after the command. Am I doing something wrong. What is the correct way to insert a line in the modules.conf without it being added incrementally every time there's a console-save or similar.
