Assp is working fine on my 2 e-smiths. But: It sometimes "kills" some wanted mails coming from automated mail-systems like admin@contribs.org - it has to be trained a little (about 2 Weeks with somehow heavy mail-traffic in our case). And you should have a lot of outgoing mail, from which assp can learn.
Assp is perfect for family or office use, where all the users tend to send and receive almost similar mails.
Assp blocks almost 99 % Spam in our case and it blocks attachments too so we get rid of all these mail-worms, very nice!
SpamAss did never work good in my case (office use) and must be combined with other tools. Each Spammer optimizes for SpamAss, so it will not work as good as assp in my case AND it also has false positives.
