Topic: seagate dds-4 tape

Was wondering if anyone has had success with the "scorpion 40" seagate dds-4 20/40gb tape drive. This drive came with a gateway 7400 server.

I have enabled tape backup in the manager and scheduled a backup for 2 minutes in the future. The time rolled around and no e-mail was sent and no activity. Was ust wondering if this drive is supported (checked the compat lists and not listed there, although it says many scsi drives are supported) and if it is, are there any special procedures to get it working.

Just installed one in new server. First couple of backups have run but report lack of space on device (tape full) at around 16GB
