how to enable and disable Squid,, also where to access ACL..

didn't see squid options in server-manager screen.

I found the following squid directories, which file should be edit and from which directory..

1- etc/e-smith/templates/etc/squid/squid.conf/

2- /etc/squid

also how to stop/start Squid without restart server.

Your first post - you need to search for the e-smith-services contrib

as for the ACL's you need to take look at squid's website for wide range of options.

or if your looking into blocking IP's or mac address, search for Ade Loveless IPBlock contrib!

if you have read the manuals and howto's on this site you would know which one should be edited.

just run at command...

service squid start/stop/restart/status

choose which one you want!!
