Topic: OWL install

Newbie question.
I'm trying to install OWL a document managment PHP app.  http://sourceforge.net/projects/owl/

I'm having troubles with the uploads.  I was told to check the upload_tmp_dir and make sure it's set to a path that exists.

I noticed that the PHP.ini files says not to edit it.  It also does not have upload_tmp_dir= in it.
How can I add this to the php.ini

Has anyone else tried to install this on SME?

  I don't know about that but i think you can try dotproject or more groupware that got more functionality and easy to setup
