Hello,
The password add-on I resently posted for webmail is part of a combined package called Sork;
Sork is comprised of four Horde modules:
Accounts to manage the other modules.
Forwards to set e-mail forwards.
Passwd for changing passwords.
Vacation to set vacation notices.
Collectively these modules now comprise what is known as sork.
Admittedly I worked with the password add-on first due to an interest noted here in the forums and took it as another good chance to add to my limited but growing experience in building rpms. After finishing I decided to look at the other add-on or the whole package as it where. While each element can be installed seperately I was woundering what the interest would be in having the sork bundled together as intended?
The password is mostly complete and would only need a little work to send it back into the package as a whole. The accounts part is turning out to be fairly easy as it says in the description it is used to manager the other three modules and diplay a little account information, just a way to keep the menus from getting to big. Forwards and Vacation will be harder as it currently uses it's own file ".forward" in the users directory for handling the redirection. Need to look into seeing if it can be made to use procmail.
All these options are available in diferent packages in some form but I think this could better for end users to be able to handle it from their webmail account once logged in.
Anyone have any thoughts or experience they'd like to add to this?
