It seems. This also is the case for the default '911' job using the very fine "Backup2Workstation" contrib.
Now, this is on 5.6U4, is it still the case on 6.x?
Since placing things in /etc/e-smith/events/local/ is the recommended way to have things start at boot (right?) shouldn't it be included in even the 'base settings' backup?
G - who no longer has the contents of that directory after backing up and re-installing.
