Topic: IMP logs in and out again immediately...

Hi,

I'm really a newbie to linux, please forgive me if my questions are too
stupid...  I use e-smith 4.1.2 and IMP 2.2.3

Last night we had a thunderstorm and a powercut.  The e-smith server went down and afterwards we experience that users who logs into IMP get logged out automatically when their inbox message list is displayed (two seconds after clicking the login button).

This causes the login screen to reappear when trying to read a message or when they want to create a new message.  

I watched the maillog file when logging on with IMP and this is what
happened:

action: clicked the IMP login button with a valid usr/pwd
log: imap service init...
log: authenticated user tor ...
action: inbox messages list displayed in IMP
log: logout user tor....

The log displays the logout msg immediately after the inbox message list is
displayed.  In the log the logout messages appear automatically exactly 2
secs after the login msg.

The e-smith IMAP mailserver works flawlessly, we use OE in IMAP mode to send/check mail now.

Would this prob be fixed if I reinstall/upgrade IMP?  Which RPM(s?) do I have to download to get a complete 2.2.6?  (I did not find any with IMP in its name)
