Printer Sharing.

I have a HP DeskJet 697C that works fine on my personnal Win2k box.  But when i try to set it up as a network printer on the E-Smith server i cannot get it to work.  I can add it in the e-smith manager and find it on the network.  But when i try to set it up on my Win2k box it says "The server on which the 'NULL' printer resides does not have the correct printer driver installed. IF you want to install the driver on your local computer, click OK."  I click ok and point it to the correct drivers.  When i try to test it i'm told that a test page cannot be printed because it is unable to create a print job.  What am i doing wrong?  Does it have to be set up with drivers in linux in order to work or what?

This is not really a complete fix to your problem, but when I set up a Red Hat 7.1 server, I found it easier to leave the printer connected to the Win box, share it in Windows and then install it as a network printer on the Linux box.  I suspect that this is a Win2k issue.
