Thank you.. How does it violate copyright laws if it's just for my personal use? If it's password protected and I'm the only listener, it doesn't seem any different than me broadcasting it in my own house to a pair of wireless headphones... just extenting the reach a little.
As long as no one else can access it, you may be
safe. However, remeber how corporations like to
cry ouch when no one has touched them. Litigation
society and all.
Just keep it in mind in case you get one of those
cease and desist letters that children recieved
because they had put up websites with Harry Potter
pictures and stuff.
Talk about insane, the publisher decided it was
hurting their profits to have their customers
on discussion websites that made no profit,
talking to fellow customers about their common
favorite character. What amounted to free advertising
for the Harry Potter books was said to diminish
the distribution of the product.
Just so you know. Companies don't care if you are
actually infringing on their rights or not.
