When i hit the send button i get an error msg like:- Page cannot be displayed and attachments are not sent...HELP!

is this just an "update" issue? I have never applied any updates to my SME box, as I am unsure how to do it. Can anyone help me? No flames pleez

What do you do where and how on what machine using which program? Be more specific.

SME 6, checking webmail from IE on win2k, XP, 98 etc, from internal on LAN or external from WEB,  logged in to webmail as any valid user, we get a "page not found" error after clicking on "send message" once the msg has been composed. The msg gets sent *sometimes*. More often than not it works if there is no attachment, but always get the "page not found" error (html type page. Anything else you want to know

Nasty. Go to command line, issue /sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade, then
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

After reboot change to /var/logs. Type in console
tail -f messages

Try to force the error with you webmail and look, if there is something strange happening in the  message log. Repeat that for other logs like maillog, qmail. DON'T post a load of logs here.

You can also use server manager to look at logs, but there is no real time update like the tail command. Report back.
