I named a printer in the printers section of the Admin.

It does not seem to show anywhere on the network. There does not appear to be a driver for it.

Do I have to install something else, Cups for instance.

This is related to what I'm dealing with.  If you use a Windows machine, and browse to the SME server machine through network neighborhood, you will see a shared printer.  If you right-click the printer and choose "connect", the Windows machine will install it's own driver, locally, and then be able to print directy to the shared printer just as if it were a local printer.  Hope that helps...

If you know how to then install that same shared printer on a linux client machine (such as redhat, white box, mandrake, etc.), please let me know!!! :hammer:

I'm pretty proficient with windows systems, been doing PC repair and networking for 6+ years.  Problem is that now I'm too Windows-minded to be able to figure out the linux way of doing things...  my preconceptions are all wrong!
