Topic: Networking E-Smith to HPUX - help!

Hi All,

I'm struggling to get an HP C3600 to talk with my E Smith box. I've set NIS as per the how2 which went well and configured the HP using set_parms inital but on boot the HP couldn't find the NIS server.

I don't know any way to check whether the server or the hp's config is wrong.

I also wanted to use NFS to mount an E-Smith ibay on the HP but cant find the how2 put nfs into esmith.

Help.
