Topic: Installing Spam Assassin

Please could someone point me to a HOWTO on installing spam assassin.
I have installed it, but have no idea how or where to configure it.

If you are running sme v5.6 you can install the contrib from Greg Zartman which integrates spamassassin into sme and adds a panel to server manager to set it up, you will also need to instal user-manager panel to set procmail for users.
The panel virtually makes setup self explanatory, but you do need to enable process mail for each user in the user-manager panel.

Thanks guys, looks great, unfortunatly I've already installed the new RPMs 2.55, and they conflict, for this, and for other junk that I've installed to test, how do I remove rpms that I've installed?

when i installed the spamassassin , i automatically receive an e-mail that i installed the Spamassassin.  How come i am not receiving any report of spams from the e-mail server???  Is there any problem of my installation???
i used this site to download the spamassassin.

How come i am not receiving any report of spams from the e-mail server???

Spam messages are tagged as "[SPAM]" and dropped in the user's /junkmail folder. Depending on your e-mail client you may have to refresh the list of imap folders to actually see it.

The current SME contrib does not send a summary report to admin, but Jesper Knudsen is working on a new panel for SpamAssassin V3 that will also do that.

In the mean time you can check /var/log/maillog to see if SA is working.
