Routing / Default gateway setup

Hello All,

I need some help in configuring an ESSG in our network. The network is broken down as follows :-

Internet
^
|
IP Gateway
(192.10.100.50)
^
|
Internal Network 1
(192.10.100.XXX
default gateway set to 192.10.100.50)
^
|
Internal Network 2
(192.168.10.XXX
default Gateway set to 192.168.10.10)
^
|
(192.168.10.10)
Cisco Router
(172.2.50.30)
|
V
Wide Area Network
|
V
Cisco routers ...
(172.7.17.XXX)

(Sorry about the long post, can't draw :) )

I am trying to insert the ESSG in between the Internal network 1 and internal network 2 so that the remote PCs across the WAN can access the ESSG mostly for mail although have internet access would be good too. I have tried setting the External IF on ESSG to an IP address in network 1 and the gateway to 192.10.100.50 (thereby giving ESSG access to the internet) and the Internal IF on ESSG to an IP address in network 2 but I cannot find a way to set the default gateway on the internal IF to 192.168.10.10 so that the remote PCs can communicate with the ESSG. I even tried setting up a local network through e-smith-manager for 172.7.17.0 with gateway 192.168.10.10 but that didn't work.

Any help is greatly appreciated !

TIA

Casey
