Thanks for taking a look at this post. I have 2 identical SME 6.0.1 servers at separate locations connected via an IPSec tunnel. (Freeswan 1.99) The moment I establish a PPTP connection to one of the SME servers, the local networks at either end of the IPSec tunnel are unable to ping each other. Oddly, the LAN IP address of the SME remains pingable from the other end of the tunnel and the "ipsec eroute" command shows no traps. I just can't ping across the tunnel to any equipment connected to the LAN port. "service ipsec restart" command restores the accessibility between the local networks across the tunnel until another PPTP connection comes along. I have perused the Contribs site without finding a solution, just a post regarding what appears to be a similar problem. (see "PPTP breaks IPSEC Tunnels" from user gardnc Sept 9 on Experienced User Forum). Any advice or link to helpful info would be most appreciated.
