I can't seem to get it to recognize the card.  I'm using 6.01 and it detects the controller, and I tell it to use the Intel drivers, but it still doesn't work.  I called Dell and they gave me the drivers, but with my limited knowledge of Linux I have no idea now to get it to the server.  I do have a floppy drive and CD rom drive, but I have no idea on how to get the drivers onto the server.  I did see a post that the contribs RPM does support the board NICs but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Not sure if it'll help, but a search in this site for "intel nics" brings back a lot of info on intel drivers and SME, including one from late last year that talks about where the drivers go. Let us know how it goes, as Dell seems to come up often around here ;-)

Good Luck!

I did do a search and found instructions on how to manually configure the card, but they talk about a directory called /sbin/e-smtih, and according to my server that directory doesn't exist.  With the newest version is the file structure different?

/sbin/e-smith has all the signal-event, expand-template, etc. script beginnings in it, so we hope it's there :-)

Seriously, on the latest version, it's there.
