I have installed Squid-Guard on my SME server.

Generally it seems to work fine.

When the access denied message comes up there does not seem to be much information here. Requests for access seem to be directed to proxymaster@foo.bar.

I assume that the information returned by this denial can be edited somewhere.

Does anybody know where to make the alterations.

Thanks.

Martin :-)

You need to edit the blocked.cgi script.

Usually in /home/e-smith/files/primary/cgi-bin/blocked.cgi

Or you can run 'find' to track it down:

Code: [Select]
find / -name blocked.cgi -print

I cannot see any reference in this file to proxymaster@foo.bar

Where do I alter this. I suppose it hould be reporting my own domain name

Try...

/etc/squid/errors/

under there will be a number of error codes.

Try to look in
/home/e-smith/files/ibays/Primary/cgi-bin

There should a file "blocked.cgi"
