Topic: Nut UPS, Sending email on events

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my server to send an email when my ups goes onto battery etc..

Well i've looked into this.

In upsmon.conf i have put 'EXEC' next to each event eg "NOTIFYFLAG ONBATT SYSLOG+EXEC"

and checked the EXEC command at "NOTIFYCMD /sbin/e-smith/nutUPS.notify"

the EXEC script works when i run it manually, but does not when i pull the power on the UPS.

can anyone help?
