SME on new Dell server with SATA
«

I just purchased a new Dell SC420 workgroup server without doing my homework properly.
The intention was to install SME on it so that it can act as a secure file server for a small network of 10 PC's. The Dell has a SATA hard drive and the SME installer doesn't recognise any drives attached.
Is there a simple solution to this or do I need to get another non-SATA drive?
Any help would be appreciated!

Save time and get EIDE drives. Use SATA disks elsewhere.

Buy two Ultra ATA 133Mhz 7200RPM drives and use them as Raid-1 and you can then use that SATA drive as an external backup drive. Like this SATA External Drive Enclosure - SATA to USB 2.0 & Firewire/iLink from Addonics,
