I have an application running on a local machine which i've had to open port 2000 thus i'm port forwarding to this local host machine so that it can reached by remote users. On the internet it is reached by "ctaylor.ca" (my domain name which resolves to 66.11.174.25). Unfortunately any local PC cannot get to this "application server". What do i need to do to get another PC to get to this local machine as I suspect the firewall (ipchains) is not allowing traffic to go out and come back in?). Suggestions? The hostname configuration option does nothing here.
