log in as admin and passwd (same as root).
go step by step through the admin-console.
one ot this steps is the dyndns-setting.

reboot your machine after change of the settings.

Not what I was looking for, what you described is to set it up??? Way past that.. Writer is not a Noob, nor an expert.. just forgot where the file is.

Where in the file directories would I find the file to open in my editor of choice and review its settings.. the .conf file..

say  /etc/e-smith.....
