hi all, I used sme a while back (v4) but had to abandon due to the need to be able to support msn messenger functionality (file transfers etc.etc.).

Can multiple msn clients now work behind an sme server and transfer files etc.. or is this still a problem?

also same question applies to yahoo and AIM.

Thanks for any advice.

My kids have been using MSN Messenger on W-XP boxes behind a SME 6.0.1-custom installation for about 6 motnhs now, without any problems.

Windows messenger has very bad NAT-support (if any).

MSN messenger works without problems. The only thing is slow transfer speed when sending files.

Thanks all for the responses, looks like the whole messenger filetransfer and video problems of old must have been sorted at some point. I will go ahead and give it another try.
