Topic: Redir in E-smith

Hey people,

I want to use my VNC server on my Windows 2000 system. Which is a client of my E-smith server gateway. How do I reroute the ports 5800 and 5900 to my 2000 client? I used to do this using redir on my former Linux-Debian system, but this comment isn't supported in E-smith. Any suggestions?

There is a how-to in the contributed how-to area.  It requires a contributed rpm to work.  The problem is i can't seem to get it working on my e-smith server.  I installed teh rpm and tried to forward port 21 to my personnal machine, when taht didn't work i tried forwarding a non server related port(27015).  It still didn't work.  I don't think i have access to change these config files.  If that's not it then i'm stumped.

Hi,

I use an IP camera with a private IP and port 10080 behind my E-smith server, I just do an

ipmasqdm portfw -a -P tcp -L externalIP 10080  -R internalIP 10080

and it works fine.  But with VNC installed on one of my workstatione I have a connection refused message, still working on it.
