Topic: clamd service not giving me any status...

Hopefully someone can clear this weirdness up.....

I have installed the same ClamAV Antivirus rpm's from pagefault.org on 2 servers, both SME 6.0.

One is flawless, the other works fine in every respect except that i don't seem to have any ability to view or change the status of the clamd service!

"service clamd status" or stop or start works fine one the one server, and gives nothing but a new line on the other (no error, just a new line, and according to the clam log file it is not restarting)

same thing for /etc/rc.d/init.d/clamd status or restart or stop or start...... I get a new command line prompt but no feedback or error and no apparent effect.....

Fixed.... somehow I had downloaded an old version of one of the RPM's and it turns out the /etc/rc.d/init.d/clamd file had the wrong location speciffied for clamd.conf.
