Topic: fresh install and webmail not working

Hi Everyone,

Thought i'd give SME a trial to see what all the fuss is about.

Install went very well (impressed) however the first thing I tryed was the webmail, hmmm it does not work.

I get this error:

A fatal error has occurred:

DB Error: connect failed

[line 108 of /home/httpd/html/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php]

Details have been logged for the administrator.

Not a good start, but overall this product looks great.

Can anyone assist me with this issue??

I'm using the latest version. It's a fresh install, meaning I haven't played with any settings. Oh I have enabled webmail and setup a few users.

This is an issue that has widely been discussed many, many, times.

Hmm should of searched for horde maybe, did try to search for a fix with webmail.

/etc/init.d/mysql.init restart
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /home/httpd/html/horde/config/horde.php
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /home/httpd/html/horde/turba/config/conf.php
