SME 6.0.1 & Soft-Raid
« on: December 07, 2004, 11:06:46 AM »
Hi !

I have 2x 80 GB HD in my Server (exactly the same Harddisk, both are primary). At beginning of the Installation of SME 6.0.1 i choose to use the Soft-Raid function.

It installed all correctly and i hope it works okay - and thats exactly the question i have ;-):

WHERE or HOW can i check if that SOFT-RAID is working propertly ?

Thanx for a short input on that !

Cheers,
M.

For some reason the directory structure was changed.  I am using raidmonitor without any problems on SME 6.01-01 even though it does not appear in darrel's 6.x directory tree.

You can also do
cat /proc/mdstat
to see the status of your RAID array
