Primary Site Cannot be viewed from internet but Ok internal
« on: January 14, 2005, 12:01:00 AM »
Hi,
something strange has happened to my SME 6.0 box. It has been running fine. I've been running my primary site for months now. i've been accessing it from country and world wide, my customers have too. Webmail, ftp etc etc...all working fine.

However, now "external" access to anything does not work. Everything works Ok internally. I can send and receive mail, ftp and view the website. I've looked at my NAT etc and that seems to be Ok.

Now the only thing that has happenned in recent days is I've had Satellite TV installed. A digipath phone connection was installed for this purpose...stranger things happen...anyone got any thoughts????? Of course, I've tried a Graceful on Apache, a re-boot, a shutdown...etc etc...still no joy?????

Thanks in anticipation,

John

...so obviously there's a permission thing with the primary e-bay???? I'm pretty sure I haven't changed anything. What do I chmod / chown to change this??? Just to save me going round in circles!!!

The IP that's trying to access the server is my public DNS service.

Thanks
