Topic: Dan's Guardian and XP sp2 firewall

I just did a fresh install 6.0.1-01 and Dan's Guardian from Dungog.
I can no longer access the internet unless I turn off the MS firewall on XP SP2. It works fine on the 2000 boxes.  Anyone know of a fix or seen the issue.

This is obviously the fault of the SP2 Win Firewall. You can define rules also for the Win Firewall but i cannot tell you which rules you've to set up for dansguardian. But have a look here: http://www.dungog.net/sme/help/SMEhelp/Dansguardian%20-%20config.html, seems like is had to be port 8080 or 3128/tcp.

If you have ident authentication turned on in dansguardian you'll need to adjust XP's firewall to allow port 113 from the sme servers IP or local network
