Fixed vmail.cgi problem (partially)
« on: January 06, 2005, 10:50:37 AM »
A while ago i posted regarding a problem i had with the vmail.cgi script for Asterisk PBX.  I was getting an internal server error when i tried to login.

My httpd-error log showed this:

[Thu Jan  6 20:03:44 2005] vmail.cgi: Bleh, no /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf at /home/e-smith/files/ibays/betaserver/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi line 96.

I tried again today, and believe i have the solution, i just need to know where to apply it.

Its all about permissions i think, first, i set the permissions on voicemail.conf to 644.  That allowed me to login.  However, no messages show up.  Now i think i have to apply the correct permissions to the voicemail folders themselves.  I have done this to no avail, is there anywhere else where i may have to change permissions, in order for the script to see the voicemail messages?

Thanks
Tristan
