Topic: Problems with newly installed server

Hello!
I have some problems with a newly installed SME Server. I use the server from windows clients. So here are the problems:
When I would like to make files read-only from windows, I have some problems. If the file was mine, there is no error message, but when I push the apply button, the checkbox will be empty. If the file was not mine (but I have write access), an error message appears (access denied).
When I would like to change my password from windows by pressing ctrl-alt-del and choosing the password modification, an error message appears (the XXX domain is not accessible).
The third problem is, how can I make domain admin users? I would like to add some users with local administrator rights to every computer in the network.
So these are my main problems. If anybody can help me, I would be very grateful.

You have to set this within Samba (use the servermanager). Create Ibays and groups and set the corresponding rghts.

You can't do this. Because it is an older version of Samba. Use //servername/user-password for the individual users so they can change it themselves. Use servermanager as system administrator.

Make the local windows user member of the local administrator group.
