Port forwarding problems
« on: January 16, 2005, 08:25:26 AM »
I'm trying to use port forwarding to allow access to webmin on a linux machine on my lan from the internet.  My intention is to browse to a given port (10010) on my SME Server from the internet, and be rerouted transparently to my other linux machine webmin server.  What port forwards should I set up to do this, and what other configuration is required?  I can currently access Webmin from my SME Server (root login).

Also, when attempting to use SSL encryption for Webmin on my linux machine I seem to be having problems.  Though I can access it using lynx on my SME Server, I can't access it from other machine on my network.  If I disable SSL, it works fine from my other machine (WinXP).  Is it possible that the SME Server is allowing normal access to port 10000, but not secure access?
