fyi,

the clam av script at

seems to work fine on sme 6.5 beta. Of course you must first disable the version 6.0 check in the beginning of the script.

It found an eicar file fine and the panel als just seems to work.

I am testing in an vmware with just one email address , so this is no test that counts as production.
