Topic: iBurst Wireless

I am trying to get SME 6.01.01 working through an iBurst Modem.

This is a broadband wireless modem that can connect to the SME box with either USB or ethernet.

Here is the predicament.  The modem is not intelligent enough for me to store a username or password for the connection. (That would have made this post unnecessary)

I can connect the modem via Ethernet - and do get connection between the modem and Eth1, but cannot specify a login / password.

The other alternative is to load the modem as a usb device, but how does that work?

I've looked at some of the posts regarding USB modems, but most of them seem to be in French?!?

Please assist and tell me if there is a solution to this problem.

The problem was with my username and password at the service Provider
