I am having a consistent problem being reported by my remote users (I only have a few) which is becoming a source of annoyance. This only occurs with remote users, not anyone on the LAN.
When remote users send email the Mail server most often reports the Server has disconnected when trying to copy the mail to the users sent folder. In my case, the option to retry is presented and is almost always successful. This is happening all the time.
The set up of the server is SME 6-01 running nothing particularly special. It is running in Server Only mode and is placed behind a NAT firewall. In searching the forums, I ran across this forum thread:

Any ideas?? I really have no idea what to check or probe. The SME server has been in service for well over a year and I would say in the past 3 or 4 months this issue has become a typical problem.
