can it be done?

i only found a place under email setup for a relay email account to be downloaded and distributed to local user accounts. we have different email accounts on different domains that need to download to our local users. tried to install fetchmail, but it has dependancies that i don't know how to install yet.

has anyone else had success in setting multiple pop account downloads up yet?

I have been reading the URL mentioned above, because I need a setup like this:

MYCOMPANY.COM (the "main" SME Server with a dedicated IP address)
FACTORY.COMPANY.COM (the "remote" SME Server located in a small ville connected with a dynamic IP adress provided by a ADSL provider)

where FACTORY.COMPANY.COM connects to COMPANY.COM at certain times and collect
and deliver any new email to the outside world.

According to the url mentioned above this is possible, however it says nothing
about the way the remote server will deliver its SMTP traffic. Is SMTP authentication support available?, so the main SME server could act as secure relay server?


Can somebody help me?
