trying for ldap replication across WAN for global address bo
« on: February 11, 2005, 11:13:41 AM »
Dear ALL,
I m trying to create a global address book across two location. The scene is as follows.
I m having two location  (say 1 & 2)conected through lease line of 64K. I hv installed SME server 6.0.1 at both location. Each location i have created a set of users & i m able to get their names lookup by configuring ldap directory service in Outlook Express. I can also access the other locatin ldap directory.
Thats good till now.
Now i have added the replcation lines in my slapd.conf file at location 1 (replica host .....) & slave lines at location 2 ( updatedn.....)

I have also added the network address in the security -local networks . I have also added the line ALL:192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 in hosts.allow
Now when i add a user in location 1 it should be updated at location 2, but this is not happening.
On checking the message log file  it say err=49
What i feel is that, there some access right problem which is preventing this replication to happen

Pl. HELP!!!

Thanks in advance....
