I have the lates SME server running with PPTP VPN clients successfully connecting and able to do most everything.... except Outlook w/ Exchange Server...
It may be a DNS issue because it is trying to connect to the exchange server over the external IP address. It is intermittent... I have successfully clicked "Check Name" and have it query the Exchange Server. then when I try to open Outlook with these settings it will eventually time out and when I look at netstat I see that it is trying to connect to the external IP address.
There are both external and internal DNS records for this host. The default DNS server is the internal DNS server on the remote network so it should be returning the internal IP for that host, and it does when doing an nslookup or ping or using Internet Explorer...
Any ideas?[/i]
