Topic: osCommerce breaks after php upgrade om sme 6

Dear All

I upgraded php on a sme 6.0 (with Mitel updates) and now osCommerce just gives a blank page.

First upgraded to php 4.3.8 using rpms from swerts knudsen & installed unixODBC using the (corrected) scripts from Ergin. The upgrade went without errors. I saw that osCommerce did not work after that upgrade but phpmyadmin, phpsysinfo & other web sites worked OK.
Then upgraded next to Dan Browns php 4.3.10 rpms without errors, but still have the same problem.
I also tried "crossgrading" to the open.rhx.it php 4.3.10 rpms but still have the problem.

Any suggestions how to fix, it seems to be a php/osCommerce issue ?

Oh, I can login to osCommerce admin section ie
https://www.mydomain.com/catalog/admin
so that part appears to be working, just not the catalog page ie
http://www.mydomain.com/catalog

I found that the osCommerce session directory location had been corrupted or changed and also quite strangely the index.php file was also corrupted. When I replaced that it starting working correctly again. Not sure why those problems occurred ??

I only upgraded PHP to 4.3.8, I have no phpBB stuff. There were no difficulties experienced on my own osCommerce shop. Hope all is well.
