I am using 4.1.2 and I can not connect to my server using Windows 2000? I keep getting a 619 error "Specified port is not connected"  Can some one help me with this?

(I am at work behind a firewall, could that be it?)

Or do I need to update my machine to a 128 bit for my VPN client?

Yes, 128-bit encryption is required. This is explained in the
user manual at
 http://www.e-smith.org/docs/manual/4.1/admin-remoteaccess.html#PPTP

Hope this helps,

Thanks, but how do I know if I have it. I always on all my PC's download all the update downloads from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com  I went to check and there was nothing out there for me to download. So how do I know. And where can I get it if not from there?

Better than reinstalling is take a look to your browser help menu
assume you have IE v5 and w2kpro sp2
in your help menu you'll be informed about encryption level of your browser/system
