Hello..

I am looking to throw out my exchange 2000 server because we are running on the 16GB info store limit and upgrading to enterprise edition is not really viable.

My question is, is there a limit on the size of users mailboxes on imap on sme server?

Hi there,

As far as I am aware, mails are stored as part of the overall user quota that is set. If no quota is set, I would imagine that there would be no limit.

We also hit the 16GB storage limit and now have to have our users archiving mails. Most surprising fro a Microsoft product.

Can someone correct me if I am wrong?

thanks for the reply..

our trouble is that we easily do 1-2gb worth of mail in a week, many users have 3 or more pst's.

i thought as much about the quota's just want to check if it will handle our mail load (with decent h/w of course)

anyone?
